Passive or Active

The Moon is still in Libra, a very gentle sign, but will move to Scorpio late this afternoon. Between 2:40 and 4:20 it will be void of course so nothing important should be signed or initiated during those 2 hours. After 4:20 it will move into the sign of Scorpio, a very private yet magnetic and intense sign for the moon. Scorpio moons are natural detectives so I wouldn't be surprised if secrets are uncovered in the next two days. Especially since the Sun and Uranus are only one degree away form each other (sudden surprises). The Moon will form nice angles to Mercury, Mars and Pluto all day. This is especially good and a sign of stable emotions for Cancer, Arie, Scorpio, Virgo and Gemini.

Chinese Astrology: This is a day dominated by the fire element. Both the month and day animal have the female fire element. Between noon and 4pm (in all time zones) the hour animal will also have the fire element. All of the animals are quite feminine in character - Ox, Rabbit and Snake (day animal) - but are attached to an aggressive element - Fire. My guess is the activities will be subtle in nature today but tackled will aggression and innovation. Snake days tend to have a philosophical and social bent.

Numerology: Today's number is 9. This is the number of passing from one phase to another, a graduation. Even if there is nothing that you are letting go of, 9 days just have that feel to them. As if you need to celebrate for something new around the corner or be sad and feel like something is slipping away. You chose how you want to deal. I prefer the celebrations. Leading the Pack

To start off, there is a void of course moon which started at 1:09am EST and will be in effect until 2:24pm EST. This means the full morning and a good part of the afternoon if you are on the east coast will need to be taken lightly. Try not to initiate anything till after the void is over. Go back through your work and check things, organize your office or schedule a hair appointment to get out of the office this morning. When the void is over the moon will enter into Aries. There will be a very sudden change in attitude. Aries is a go getter and a leader as opposed to Pisces, the dreamer, where it has been with the sun for the last 2 days. We still have a good portion of our planets in Aquarius so take advantage of Internet pursuits, networking or humanitarian efforts. If you are trying to find a job right now, there is a good chance that your best opportunities will come through networking. Let your friends and acquaintances know what you are looking for as well as any online networks you belong to. Put up something about it on your Facebook post. You never know!!

Chinese Astrology: The animal of the day is the Tiger, which is also the month animal. These are both in the male element, so as soon as the moon is out of void and in Aries we are really going to feel some active energy. Tigers are natural leaders. They are original, bold, always in a hurry, and independent. You may want to tackle projects on your own today but take advantage of the assertive energies (after the void moon) and get things done. The Tiger is also a generous sign. If you work in the service industry you may see better tips today than normal. The year animal, Ox, isn't really in conflict with the Tiger, but they aren't necessarily on the same wave length. The Ox is a little more sturdy and thorough and the Tiger more dynamic and active. They are however both good leaders and workers. In general an air of taking action today. Tigers can be know to have fits of genius/madness so be ready for crazy ideas as well.

Numerology: The number for today is 3. This will add a sense of fun today. 3's like to be dramatic and have fun. This makes me feel a little more at ease about all the assertive themes going on today as I am a fairly laid back person. I would suggest doing something fun tonight. let your hair down a little and go socialize after an assertive work day. You could meet someone special if you a Libra Sun or rising sign, or make some job connections if you are a Taurus sun or rising sign. Overall it looks like a good night to get out and do something.
